The only way to know is to know the testimony the jury got.
Victims’ families who sued Jones said they were subjected to years of torment, threats and abuse by people who believed the lies told on his show. One father said conspiracy theorists urinated on his 7-year-old son’s grave and threatened to dig up the coffin.
And sue him they should have, but then we get into, is what jones did worth 1.5 billion in damages? Can jones be held liable for what actions others take if he didn't tell them to harass those people?
You get into the weeds here about liability and free speech. The problem is, if jones has to be liable for the actions of other people, then, if I read something you leftys post here, and then get mad and go out and commit a crime, can that person come back and sue you for damages?
