How many little 6 & 7 year olds were torn apart by those bullets? How many parents, grandparents, siblings were shattered in grief?

I understand that his statements may have caused grief to those families, but in law, you don't award people based off of grief. You have to award based on actual damages, and in this case, you have to ask, what damage was caused worth 1 to 1.5 billion?
