The Supreme Court has rejected Infowars founder Alex Jones's appeal against a $1.4 billion defamation judgment brought by families of Sandy Hook school elementary shooting victims after he called the massacre a hoax.

Alex Jones had said the Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax.

"The Supreme Court properly rejected Jones’s latest desperate attempt to avoid accountability for the harm he has caused," Chris Mattei, an attorney with the firm Koskoff, who represents the families, said in a statement sent to Newsweek. "We look forward to enforcing the jury’s historic verdict and making Jones and Infowars pay for what they have done."

Jones must have known this case was a loser. He knew is was lying. HIs attempt at filing bankruptcy was an abject failure. Jones should just admit defeat and do the payout.

So much for freedom of speech.


At least this means Erika Kirk can sue Jimmy Kimmel for a few billion about his lies about Charlie’s death.
