She did a good job. She parried the loaded questions. She highlighted Trump's gaslighting, i.e., how he accuses others of doing what he does. And she reminded everyone of who and what he is.

Which is exactly what a lot of older Republicans don't like about Trump: Who and what he is.

She went on FOX to swing older voters. And she held her ground and then some.

She did the job.

Sorry, if I got carried way, disproving your post, even if what you stated was actually part of the interview, an interview, I just now got to see for the first time (YouTube FOXNEWS Channel), as I was tied up responding, knowing there is a certain crowd that would accept anything said on FOX, almost as readily as if it came from Trump himself.

You will or might notice, after you got my attention, true to my word, I stopped responding, though, some did make further comment. And, I do apologize to you personally as the OP of a legitimate thread, as it did become an off topic sideshow. Realizing, though nothing appears to have been reported, I did go back in and delete the vast majority my argument, as OFF TOPIC (several) as well as a few responding to what had already been deleted as off top, all recorded in thread moderation log.

Yes. Somebody will get 270 and I do hope all will be fine with it. We early voted today. My single die is cast, and I suspect most know where I stand. True to my independence though, it was another mixed ballot, as I continue to be a David Kustoff supporter, along with my local Republican guy on a state ballot, as he is a good guy and will do us a good job in Nashville.

As for the Harris interview, they both had their hands full. He was wanting to cut through the word salad, sometime successful, sometime not. His question about the number of illegal aliens was pointless if wanting to get a real number, and she word saladed out it. He was really looking for if she had awareness of the magnitude of aliens, legal and illegal, allowed into the country under Joe's executive action, I have railed about on here since right after he yelled "y'all Come" to the world.

How come, nobody has had a thread on here about Kamala saying "Let me be Clear"? Often, with no intention to be clear on the question, but instead on he policies and about Trump. Good God, I could have a pretty good drunk on, if I had just known to get a shot glass and use the phrase as a drinking game. Didn't somebody do one on here relating to Joe about "Come on, Man". Eh, opportunity missed this time, though I got in on the Joe one, for whatever speech that one involved, and yes it was a good drunk.

She did buffalo at times with word salad BS, and Bret combatted it, as best he could. She could do nothing about the questions (and some were good, if miscrafted to get what he really wanted, but in the end, he could do little about the answers, so she did repeatedly get her message out. Part of that, her actually being effective, part Brett knowing there were limits to how hard he could attack in an interview, what very probably might be the next President of the United States.

Glad I got to see it, but like I said, I cast my die at around 1:45 this afternoon.

The problem is with your analysis is that this also includes California, Illinois and New York. We elect Presidents with an Electoral process to overcome this problem because there are actually 50 states, not 3 states.

Okay I posted the above before I saw the interview which we will now go do. According to the USMB commentary, I may owe Bret Baier an apology for inferring he wouldn't really do a serious interview or might edit out anything really damaging.

Maybe he did well. I'll report my evaluation after we've watched it.

And now I officially apologize to Bret Baier for my suspicions that this would not be a completely honest interview. He did a really good job of asking important questions, absolutely none of them which she answered.

The one glaring missed opportunity though was when she would answer with her memorized phrase, "I will follow the law" to avoid answering a question, he should have followed up with, "What do you want the law to be?"
