The rich and poor don't have to worry about unhealthy lifestyle. The poor gets free healthcare and can down all unhealthy food and live the unhealthy lifestyle. The rich and middle classes are the ones subsidizing the poor's lifestyle. The middle class is the group getting reamed. Best prevention is healthy living but if this country is to follow how Japanese government monitor its citizens' health, we may end up with another civil war. In Japan, a company can force an overweight employee to lose weight. If not, government will fine the company. Plus, Japanese walk a lot unlike Americans with their big SUV and flashy cars.
