The new Trump reflecting pool is a big hit… with algae

Imagine, Sass, the same people who thought nothing of Joe Biden staggering around like Lurch, unable to sign bills, always on vacation resting, needing to pardon his entire family of crimes, getting lost, falling over, looking confused, forgetting what he wanted to say, who his family members were--- these are same same people now worried that normal algae is growing normally in the mall pool they just filled, as proof and grounds that Trump wasted just a small fraction of what Clinton spent to do a similar job.

Look out, another job is going well for the Trumpster, on time and under budget again.

It could be bad. :safetocomeoutff:
Hilarious

You fat rapist Shitler! can't walk a straight line or stand up very long anymore.

Algae isn't maga!

Algae doesn't form that fast, idiot. The darker paint is just probably showing the surface scum up quicker and better, but thanks for reminding us that the water is not only fresh, but is actively being maintained by a crew as your picture shows. Meanwhile, they apparently haven't even gotten around to chlorinating it yet, but you just couldn't wait your hot little ass to run down the first, best Trump-bashing article you could find, even if it is only about pond-water.

If I had to guess, some limpdick like you probably put the algae there in the first place just to take those pictures--- Man, having Trump as your president again sure just eats you up inside.
God damn....another conspiracy theory?

That’s right just days after the opening of the newly painted reflecting pool officials have maintenance crews vacuuming the growing algae off the top of the pool. Turns out that the darker paint creates an even better environment for algae.

Congrats we have a $13 million algae resort
you forgot "BOMBSHELL" in the title :abgg2q.jpg:

Has this reflecting pool always had this problem?
Well, the quick answer is yes. Any time you have still water with nearby vegetation, you’re going to have the potential for algae.

The reason why that swimming pools, reflecting pools, and nearly every other man mande large container of open water is painted a light color is because it will reflect the sunlight more.

I’m not certain if the reflected light or the resulting relative coolness of light being reflected--vs being absorbed by darker colors--helps prevent algae buildup but it does. Its likely a combination of both but my money is on the temperature angle. When I was there the multiple times I’ve visited, you saw the build up at the corners; not the middle. I’ve also seen this in other reflecting pools. The warmth of the surrounding concrete seems to help; the relative coolness of the middle of the pond hurts the growth.

Hope this helps.

Either way, the entire fiasco was a complete waste of money.

What you mean is that the dark color absorbs the sunlight warming the water making for a better bath for algae to grow in especially as the heat rises from the bottom which is normally the cooler water, but I'm sure there is a solution--- filtration, circulation, chemical treatments, etc., because the point of the job WAS the color, the original color, which matches the flag. If it were just the usual light power blue, it would look like just a big swimming pool.

Maybe Trump will stock the pool with a bunch of bristlenose plecos, cherry shrimp, trumpet snails and whiptail catfish.

According to Shitlers! agriculture secretary there are no screwworms anywhere near the US.
AI say you foola boosheet.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) confirmed the presence of the New World screwworm within the United States. Contrary to claims that none are near the US, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins confirmed that the flesh-eating parasite has crossed the border, leading to active cases in Texas and New Mexico.

Right, she lied until she couldn't lie anymore.

Kinda like you.

That's 13 million they could have put towards the screw worms that have infested your brain.

Screw worms sound just about right dealing with people who always seem to be missing a screw.

Wouldn't it be funny if the dark blue paint is just to hide a secret radar mesh underneath that is actually a national security radar detector designed to look up and scan space.

yeah, "bombshell"
See you over in the thread about the 6.5% PPI reported today after 6.0% last month.
