Hey Stupid, your own linked article claims the algae formed immediately and such growth is quite normal, and even showed a guy out there sucking it up. In 1 day.

I've never been there so I don't know if, what, or how they circulate, change, filter or treat the water. But since they just filled it up-- according to your link --I imagine they will keep a guy around cleaning it like you would any pool and maybe even give a shock treatment shortly before the party to sterile it for days, then they'll do whatever they usually do.
