The new Superman....................what do you think?

/----/ So, the reviewer is lying?
if this reviewer saw the movie he or she would know why his parents said what they said...but i notice they did not put that reason in the review....i wonder why?....and like i said i saw no lectures from anyone....some people see politics in every dam thing they do....the movie was no different than any other super hero movie thats been released...the movies take place on earth in our times....

and i notice the reviewer did not say why that happened....and throughout the movie you dont see that....
/----/ Keep Superman true to the original storyline. I don't want to hear this crap. Maybe when it's free on Prime.

Maybe Bizarro Superman will emerge from suspended animation in Los Angelas and undo everything that's been accomplished on Earth.

Oh, yeah. They wanted their son to rule the earth.

That’s been the story for decades and decades.

When I read Superman comics in the early 90s, Krypton being an almost fascist world that had viewed planets like earth as being inferior to be ruled over was well established.

It’s not a new take at all.

The whole point is that the Kents raised Clark to be a good person. He’s a good person despite the fact his “real” parents were terrible.

I was referring to the post-crisis Kryptonian patents from the 1987 Superman reboot by John Byrne.

That was the Superman I grew up reading.

You were growing up in 1987? How young are you?

Again, can someone explain what makes this movie “woke”?

Or are you all just parroting one another?

Yeah, I have no ******* clue where this woke shit is coming from.
I've watched all the trailers so far, and haven't seen ANYTHING remotely "woke".

15th post
The guy did well though as Superman
The action in 3D was pretty cool but the movie didnt really blow me away though. His girlfriend Louis Lane was hot.
/----/ Usually Lois Lane is the plain Jane, girl next door, that attracts the Man of Steel.

Very pretty jane though

Superman Beats Milosevic hehe

Lol it was a fictional dictator of a fictional nation 'boravia' but he spoke serbian for americans and the international audience they probably dont know its serbian just some 'evil russki sounding language' but i recognised it as serbian. The boravian dictator also had grey hair and a bit of a Milosevic haircut.

boravia was introduced in 1939 in Superman no 2.....and again in 1958 in a Blackhawk comic....
