Black Wizard of Oz is remembered only for resurrecting Michael Jackson 's failed career. Black Annie is a failure of epic proportions.

Black entertainers need to find some spark of original creativity to make their own iconic figures and stop trying to fit everything into a black mold.

The Wiz (what you refer to as the Black Wizard of Oz) was a long running broadway musical that was nominated for 7 Tony Awards. Hardly a failure. Perhaps in your neck of the woods, it is only remembered for Michael jackson's involvement, but in theatrical circles it was much, much more.

And casting a black man as Bond is hardly trying to fit everything into a black mold. There is not one hint that the Bond series will change, except for the color of the leading man's skin.

First of all, you seem unwilling to accept that Hollywood has nothing to do with this. It is a british film company.

Second, I have no problem believing that they auditioned some well known actors and Elba was the best. He has done some very good work throughout his career. Perhaps you should see him act before you dismiss his abilities. He has been nominated for numerous awards and won several. He is not being cast simply because he is black.

And how many times you asked about Obama has no relevance in a debate about a black actor being cast for a leading role by a british film company.
