The nature of "jurisdiction"

Jurisdiction in the 14th, and the SCOTUS will not accept a lawsuit arguing that alone, I think.

You're preaching to the choir, this has been argued endlessly online but the only place it really matters is in court.

If I still had access to my previous postings on another board you probably wouldn't see much difference in what's already been posted. I'm just pointing out what you're up against, precedence and the fact that a LOT of people don't want this, the status quo, to change.

Oh, and consider anyone not onboard with this as "racist".
When we have illegals of all races and ethnics coming into this country, how can it be racist ???

Can you sue an illegal alien who hits your car? you can pursue in court if the court has jurisdiction.
It seems like you can but how are you going to "compel" them to do anything? Show up for court, file an answer to your complaint or better yet, if you win, pay the judgment?

I just don't have a lot of faith that someone who ignored our laws regarding entering the country without permissions cares anything about any of our other laws.

They have the same obligation to appear in court as you do because they are subject to the authority of the court.

The issue is being confused by dipshit white wingers. Children born here have not violated any laws by being born here to parents in the country illegally and they are under the jurisdiction of the American government. There is really only one exception to American jurisdiction and that is diplomatic immunity. That's the only instance in which the child's parents are even relevant to this equation.

And criminals will criminal.
They came in breaking the law = they started out in this country as criminals.
You are supporting them breaking the law, makes you a criminal as well !
Entering the country illegally is a civil a offense. Calling them criminals is like calling someone stopped for speeding a criminal.

What a pile of crap.
Illegally = against the Law.
Against the law is a crime.

BTW, how many of those illegals are you willing to put up in your own home, pay for their room and board, out of you own wallet ???

I have no problem sending them home.

Why are you worried about race?

Bullshit !
You need to brush up on your history.
Per language usage of 1860's "jurisdiction" referred to nation of origin/birth. They were under the authority of our laws, but not the jurisdiction of the USA. We deport them for breaking various laws, mainly illegal (unauthorized) entry into our nation. We deport them back to the nation they came from, the nation whose jurisdiction they were under, before breaking our laws to enter here.

I'm not "worried about race".
I was responding to the poster who was worried about racism, by pointing out racism has nothing to do with violating our laws on immigration.
In parts of my state we have illegals here from Russia and the Ukraine.
I'm ashamed to say my late, younger sister married an illegal from India who slipped across the Canadian border into this country. Has made himself 'legal' since.

As for race, when per Ancestry.com my two sons are one quarter black (Nigeria), I doubt I'm much worried about race. I've more racial and ethnic diversity in my family/close relatives than the majority of posters on this board. Especially more than most of those who are black.

Thanks.

When other facets of our system--the legislature, and the constitutional convention, fail to produce results in this venture, this is the only other place. So an EO of this drastic nature is the best way to get it addressed.
You're right in that at least this EO got it before SCOTUS.

This type of EO became inevitable, and SCOTUS will kill it forever.
