The metaphorical wrecking ball analogy takes a physical form.

Actually we need to know who gave how much, do see if there is a Quid Pro Quo for their contribution.
Like when Clinton rented out the Lincoln bedroom to his rich elitists, and took the donations to add to his campaign fund? Did you seem to care about that? Neither did I, just like I don’t care about this, but because of the political party, you do.

Guess you're all for the Basketball and Bowling alley you black-tounged weasel.
I'm for zoning, and historic preservation laws. Which the 1942 renovations followed. Truman gutted and rebuilt the inside that was crumbling (remember the piano) and preserved the exterior walls.

When they upgraded the windows, the replacement bulletproof windows were identical to the one's they took out.

It's like the statue of liberty. The outside remained the same.

But instead Trump took a wrecking ball to the exterior of the East Wing.

Which unlike paving the Rose Garden, can't be "undone".

The simple answer is that EVERYTHING Trump does drives Democrats completely batcrap crazy. It is quite literally a mental illness. There is no other explanation for it. He could literally cure cancer and they'd say he's contributing to overpopulation.

I thank gaia that if the time ever comes there are people who would watch your asses exterminated from your own self-importance. To many Republicans think that is not your final solution to them.

True but usually I understand why,..to a point. This time I don't. What's wrong with having a place for people to have parties and dance? I just don't get it. Maybe they're envious of how rich and powerful he is and that he can make it happen or something.
WE have a ball room already at the white house, MAYBE
its not a big deal, Yet while we have so many things needing attention
MAYBE there are more important places to put our dollars.

I see it as (D) versus (R) conflict and as it is with most of their conflicts, they act like babies.

That's beautifully done ... and hilarious. :lolly:
If I hear the term "democracy" uttered one more time by a Democrat/Leftist/Communist, I will vomit. Because they have zero understanding of our Constitutional Republic, first. And, second, their cartoonish, hyperbolic, completely dishonest take on Donald Trump, which has been going on for a full decade now, is laughably inaccurate but dangerous at the same time.

It's the White House, not the Trump House.
Every president before him tried to preserve it as the house the people built.

And any changes, like putting in a bowling lane, were minor, and reversible.

This is like carving "Trump was here" into the Resolute Desk.

The WH is not his to do with as he pleases. Why is that so difficult for you to comprehend?

Given the opportunity I would be glad to contribute $200 to a fund for restoring the WH to its former condition. Bringing back the Rose Garden and East Wing. Getting rid of the physical evidence of this stain on our country.

Cry harder, lets get to the root of this shall we you want the people to fund it, Trump took away that Burden. We can't let democrats design it. It would be full of rainbows, and unicorns, and pink haired mannequins, which would just be another thing the world would laugh at.
Elections have consequences

How are the Republicans acting like babies though?

What's wrong with that? Don't presidents and vice presidents already do that anyways before they leave office?

And what is wrong with having a nice ballroom?
Nothing.
Except it's one more thing for the completely inept and impotent Democrats to bang their pots and pans about.

15th post
USA investors, Kings, high diplomats to spend money here are not going to go to the Holiday Inn ballroom by the freeway you ignorant Board Stain.

Security purposes alone outweigh any detractors. Pound sand toothless commee scum.

You appear to have accepted the notion the human wrecking ball has put forth that a grand ballroom is something presidents have wanted for 150 years. That's a conman's bullshit. Secondly, if a Dem prez felt major renovations to the WH were needed he wouldn't have gone ahead with them on his own.

trump is a temporary steward of the presidency. The WH isn't his to do with as he pleases. It belongs to the country. What he has done already, destroying a significant part of a historic building, is an abomination and an insult to the country.
Cry harder he is improving it

They already had a ball room that accommodated 200.
Trump wants that torn down, and expanded to 900.
