Mickelson for sure, but Brooks is just a dick. He always has been. Mickelson is still well liked.Brooks and Mickelson are disliked by golf analysts for bailing to the LIV league.

I think Brooks had a late tee time today and never really was close to the leader board. He'll be in the morning groups tomorrow. Hope he has a good round. I like him.Has there ever been any multiple major champion as disliked as Brooks Koepka? Dude has FIVE MAJORS and they've barely mentioned him today. I'm not a fan either but give the guy some respect. They've talked way more about John Rahm.
Its an excellent way to take a nap.I'd rather watch paint dry.
I would attend a golf tournament or a tennis tournament if I could yell when they are serving/putting. Better yet, a cow bell.
Golf is like a lot of things that seem boring unless you are into it. Look at all the people that will sit in the hot sun for hours watching cars driving in a circle. Its an excellent way to take a nap.
I heard the pumps were running in the morning so it did rain, but not a lot. Rooting for the two old guys Couples and Langer to make the cut!Don't know if it rained there last night or not. The greens are already firming up today. The afternoon groups today are gonna have fast greens. The projected cut line keeps jumping back and forth between +1 and +2.
No, I don't think it's boring; however, it always intrigued me how you are required to be quiet in certain sports.
The funny thing about that is a single fan can't view a car all the time as it goes around a road course.
Fair enough. And if I can take your username literally, congrats on your retirement. No, I don't think it's boring; however, it always intrigued me how you are required to be quiet in certain sports.

Koepka made an 8 on the last hole, now THAT'S an implosion!Phil Mickelson imploded again.
He finished bogey-quad bogey. I don't like the guy but I wouldn't wish that on anyone who was inside the cut line with 2 holes to go. Brutal. He had a +3 round today and missed the cut by 3.
Oh yeah. The foot traffic from the players, caddies, staff, vendors and fans takes a toll on the course and facilities. They bring in a boat load of expert practitioners from all over the country to ready that course for this tournament and they will spend the rest of the year recovering the course from this tournament.
I've attended quite a few pro tournaments over the years. What you miss with TV coverage is hearing and seeing the power and precision that pros possess up close. The weekend is shaping up as a good television spectacle, as all the favorites are in the hunt. Who would not want to see Dechambeau and McIlroy in the final pairing tomorrow?
As for the television coverage, I think it's excellent. They follow most of the players that the fans want to see and they deal well with the intrinsic fact that you can have "critical" shots in more than one place at the same time. While I've never attended a professional golf tournament in person, I think you get a much better spectator experience on the telly than you would at the course.
It doesn't take a lot of insight to predict that Justin Rose will fade...probably shoot a 76 today.
