Once I saw my bets were toast, I was rooting for Justin Rose. Maybe he'll win next year like Jack did when he was 46.

He would have won if he didn't screw up the par 5s on the back nine. Don't pros hit hybrids anymore? I kept seeing mid and long irons bouncing over the greens, hybrids go higher and land softer.

He hung on. Adding only one stroke below par the last two days. Could have lost to 2 or 3 of them. But his short game was on. The others missed too many make able putts under pressure. Rose sad again.

Btw: to the haters. Heard he is we liked. No pompous BS. Tips golf staff at least $1000 per when normal is $100. No one ever had a bad word about him allegedly from common man.
