The Man Who Owns the Current Iran Crisis

I don't think I do. We have almost 50 years of Iran attacking the US, and they have never been averse to calling for our death.

I think only the CIA has them beat for death and destruction throughout the world.
After eight years of propping up Saddam, who slaughtered their people in a war he couldn't have prosecuted without our military freebies, they have every right to be pissed off.

And it was the CIA responsible for the Shah, deposing him and letting the mullahs take over, and the aforementioned war with Saddam....Again, they have every right to hate us.

Idiot, the Iranians have enough enriched uranium to make 9 nuclear bombs in short order. All they would need to do is spin it up into weapons grade and assemble it into the requisite bombs.

All Trump has done is show the Mullahs that the USA can touch them any time it wants in their tender spot.

Any sane person would take the hint and agree to peace. But the Mullahs won't do that.

This means that someone is about to drop the hammer of Thor on Iran but good.

Next up: Iran will try to block the Straight of Hormuz.

Maybe.

Conversely, what Trump has done is show the Iranians why they need a bomb.

Trump went on and on about "Little Rocket Man", until he started kissing his ass.

I agree that the CIA has a ton of responsibility for what has been going on. But the Iranian people deserve better than the government they have.

If this attack helps propel a revolution against the mullahs, thereby reversing the CIA intent, then I am all fir it.

True, but this is different in my opinion. As I said, the current situation was the goal of the CIA.

If the people rise up and take back their country it will be the best for everyone.

I wish the Cubs had not recently won a World Series....That ***** up the whole "hope springs anew" analogy.

Wow, you really believe that? The Zionists have already accused the Iranians of breaking the ceasefire.

The Iranians were willing to talk before the Zionists and Trump started bombing them.

You may be right. If so, good that we bombed.

I'll tell you exactly how it will work.

The Iranians will smile sweetly, and keep working on a bomb.
There is America and there is Iran.

And you and I have chosen different sides to champion.

Yet you choose to live here, not there.

Hypocrite?

Have you been to the nation that turned the desert green?

"The Iranians were willing to talk before the Zionists and Trump started bombing them."

AI Overview

Recent statements from Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other Iranian officials indicate a strong commitment to continuing Iran's uranium enrichment program

.
Key points:
  • Uranium enrichment is seen as crucial for Iran's nuclear program and national interests. Khamenei and other officials have declared that abandoning enrichment would be against the country's self-reliance and progress.
  • Iran maintains its right to enrich uranium on its own soil, rejecting calls from the United States to halt or significantly reduce this activity.
  • While not explicitly stating they would never give up even one centrifuge, the emphasis on maintaining enrichment capabilities suggests a strong reluctance to dismantle or cease operation of existing centrifuges.
