He plunged America into heavy debt, cutting taxes for the rich. He made it easy for American corporations to profit from dirt-cheap labor abroad, gutting our manufacturing base. Stripped workers of their benefits and rights by breaking up all of the unions that for decades kept worker wages high. Productivity increased, salaries remained stagnant, while the cost of living went up. Many utility companies owned by municipalities around the country were privatized and prices went through the roof, with worse service. American consumers began using credit cards amassing huge debts, in order to compensate for the higher cost of living.

You can cry and moan like a bitch but that's the truth and now in the early 21st century, advanced automation and artificial intelligence is going to replace wage-labor and force society to adopt socialism, a non-profit mode of production. The American people will own the means of production and all of the wealthy parasites who exploit labor are going to have to suck on an egg, while their former slaves take ownership of the technology, factories and all of the major centers of economic power, from banking to energy.
