The state is always a dictatorship. It's either serving the interests of a small wealthy elite or the public. The dictatorship of the Proletariat is when the working class, the vast majority of people in society, take the reins of power away from the parasites who exploit them.

They live paycheck to paycheck because the wealthy parasites that you worship pay shit, and the cost of living is through the roof. Workers have been stripped of their rights and power due to the dismantling of labor unions, and they don't have the time or the resources to go to school. They're overworked, underpaid, paying much of their salaries to their landlords and if they get sick they don't go to the doctor or hospital, because they can't afford it.

Advanced automation technology and artificial intelligence is going to necessitate in the not-too-distant future, the adoption of socialism, if not in name in principle. You can deny it, but that's right around the corner.
