You miss the point entirely. tRump made some very outlandish threats. If he goes through with only a portion of them all hell is going to bust out. And you forget again, tRump no longer requires the MAGAt faction to operate. He got what he wanted and now a free agent. Think on that. And you can bet all functions and levels in the Federal Government are.

The Governors have already started to put in place protections from him. It isn't just California. And if you are depending on the states that supports tRump, don't. What would happen is the big blue states turns off the spickets. They pay in more than that get back every years. Meanwhile, the ones that will blindly follow tRump will find that the Feds no longer have the kick back money to send them. States like Mississippi depend on those funds just to keep the lights on.

It's not the first time that Military has had these meetings. It happened in the end of the Nixon period. The Military did a sitdown where no orders would be followed from Nixon. This is what really ended the impasse. There was no way in hell that the Senate was going to convict him so he didn't have to do a thing. But he was deemed unstable by the Joint Chiefs and for 3 days, none of his orders were followed. Some thought they were just delaying. No, take it from those of us that had enough rank to be in on it, it wasn't a slow down. It was a sit down. But the normal things for the nation were still done by the Military so the Nation was safe. I was shocked in the briefing that covered this in 1973.

Trump has explicitly followed the U.S. Constitution - even turning power back over to the states (which never happens). Because we have the most constitutional Supreme Court ever (thanks to Trump), anything that is the purview of the federal government will be upheld no matter what your little fascist extremist idols do.

Feels so damn good knowing all of you fascists have been rendered powerless for at least the next 2 years. And by that time, we’ll have even more protections in place against you extremists.
