The Judiciary Act of 1789 didn't anticipate a prez like trump.

“The Court’s decision is nothing less than an open invitation for the Government to bypass the Constitution,” Sotomayor warned. “The Executive Branch can now enforce policies that flout settled law and violate countless individuals’ constitutional rights, and the federal courts will be hamstrung to stop its actions fully.” This is the new America.

Your side supports abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, human trafficking, and endless wars. It’s your actions that are killing us.

Yes:
  • Abortion
  • Homosexuality
  • Transgenerism
  • Human trafficking
  • Wars
But do not leave out:
  • Open borders
  • Mass migration of undocumented 3rd Worlders
  • Hatred and violence against Jews
  • Globalism as a means of transferring wealth and power from the USA to the rest of the world.
  • Green energy which would triple the cost of energy putting all of us back in the 1900s.
  • Governmental spying on Americans
  • Prosecuting political opponents on made-up crimes as a way of thinning the competition
  • Ignoring the people of red states even when hit by a hurricane
  • Getting rich off of insider knowledge then pardoning yourself of your crimes upon leaving office
  • Rigging elections, then installing state puppets who sleep on the beach while you autopen America's destruction.

It's like you kids take turns with the same 4 brain cells...
This, from the same group of people who all spew out the same crap verbatim 7 days a week like you all read from the same pamphlet.

Which is three more than you posess.
I think you just called Creepy an amoeba.

Skip the posturing. I actually oppose birthright citizenship, and I'm fine with it being removed. But I oppose unhinged authoritarian government more.
So you have nothing but "YOU'RE A FASCIST!", even though you know what's being done here is the right thing, because your unvarnished hatred for one man comes before all.

BSOverThere.webp

If he were, it would be the kind that gives you amoebic dysentery.

trump is the last prez in the world you want to have with the ability to violate the constitutional rights of citizens unless or until he is blocked by a class action suit or by his SC.
He, his captains and his flock are all convinced that the Executive should have more power than the other branches. They didn't think that a year ago, of course, but this is their chance to create the autocratic state they've always wanted.

I had no idea how many Americans want a strongman to take care of them. Especially a flamboyant NY City billionaire faux strongman who sports a Flock of Seagulls hairdo and more makeup than his wife.

The Founders and early legislators did everything they could to deter this from happening, but they couldn't account for changes in culture and human nature. Nor could they account for the rise of a fully self-contained and separate informational universe.

Uncharted waters now. The Founders, as brilliant as their work was, did not have a provision for this, nor could they.

Your one hope was that the Judicial System would stop this criminal Presidency. With both the Legislative, and now Judicial Branch ceding all of their powers of check and balance to the Executive, you're done.

That ACB takes the "originalist" stance that because the British Courts would not institute a nationwide injunction against the KING's illegal rrders, the American courts cannot order an nationwide injunction against an unlawful EO issued by an elected President. Didn't your nation declare independence from Kings who ruled by "Divine Right???

This makes Trump's attacks on law firms make so much more sense. Any legal attacks on his EO's will now require "Class Action" suits. He tried to make sure that no law firms would dare continue to take him on.

It's difficult to explain or describe the degree of manipulation we have seen here. One of my brothers lives in the UK and he can't understand why we know so little about world history.

The last thing these people want is to have to turn over all this power to the Democrats in an election. Absolutely no way. So I have to wonder if the plan is to not let that happen.

I think that I can explain it, but I don't know if you will get it.

We had four years of a president who was plainly to most of us selected for his willingness to go along with whatever the far left activists who surrounded him told him to sign (or signed for him).

These activists - I'll call them Team Autopen, or TA for short - had a set of beliefs that were an anathema to typical Americans. With the power of the presidency, they were able to act on those beliefs.

The swift and decisive action of Trump to reverse those acts is being interpretted by those who wish to fulfill the goals of TA as "authoritarian."

Yet, you are unable to explain why Trump taking swift and decisive action to control the border is more authoritarian that Team Autopen talking swift and decisive action to not only open the border up, but to use the power of the state to imprison their political rival.

One thing you have said here that actually makes sense.
I said this was going to happen months ago, only I thought it would be Congress making these changes after the summer break.
This is not a good thing for America - but they had no choice. The left and Democrats cheered these radical judges abusing their power. You are right - the framers didn't make a provision thinking 100s of judges would be so filled with hate for ONE MAN they would risk losing their power to try and stop ANYTHING he was doing.

The left did this. PERIOD.
And we may pay dearly for it later.

I think that has always been the plan. Trump told his voter "Vote for me this time and you'll never have to vote again". Sometimes they slip up and say the quiet part out loud.

I also think that Trump is going to use his mass deportations to foment unrest until that unrest turns into what was happening in 2020. He wants something he can use to declare martial law and cancel elections until "stability returns".

Trump spends so much time saying crazy things at his rallies that people ignore when he says something like that but he laid it all out how he was going to become Dictator for Life in his campaign rallies and everyone dismissed it all. He even put it into writing, or at least his aides did, in Project 2025. So when Trump claims the American people voted for this, he makes a valid claim. He never hid his plans for retribution, deportation, or tariffs.

I believe Trump has never read the 900+ page document on the Heritage Society's website. He doesn't need to. He told Stephen Miller and the gang what he wanted to do, and they put together the handbook to achieve those goals and they're going at record clip.

It's not. It's every bit as authoritarian as Biden and Obama. Congratu-*******-lations. You suck too!

Sometimes fire has to be fought with fire.
Democrats will have the same lame excuse when they get back in power.

And when the country is a smoldering ruin, one of you can claim victory!

Okay.

You tell me how Republicans/Trumpers should respond to the previous eight years of unrelenting lawfare by Democrats.
