Christian Bibles for hundreds of years have been published that contain maps of Palestine when Jesus lived there. I posted a you tube video addressing this. Israel was created in 1948, the land has been called Palestine for 2400 years.

I have read in he past that it was exactly the opposite -- that most of the Jews in Israel have a Middle Eastern background. It would also be great if Hyrcanus can shows us something about this "historical statute of limitations" since I don't think many of us have ever heard about this.

Last time I looked into this, it only listed the ethnicity of immigrants to Israel.

It now appears that the Jewish population in Israel is about 50/50 Ashkenazi and Sephardic/Mizrahi Jews.
