The same way that the crooks that skews the vote would be the same "officials" recounting all those paper trail ballots. Voter corruption, funny money, 3 their justice, race battles, hate crimes, etc are all symptoms of the disease, which is uncontrolled power and the abuse of authority. It is untreated because we think the treatment is as bad as the disease. At least that is what we are told, and we still believe a lot of it.
Back when i was in Saudi Arabia i would go to the gold souks and purchase 18 and 22 carat gold jewelry, which was sold by the gram so you could get a very good deal without having to pay the workmanship. I have amassed a good supply of precious metals, just in case the dollar tanks.
I always chuckle when folk fight over employment figures. If a president leaves on a recession or a pandemic, obviously unemployment increases, and if you inherit the economy as the recession or pandemic passes, obviously employment increases. But watching folk fight over numbers is funny.
Even more profound is the fact that dollar erosion has made employment almost irrelevant. Sure people are dedicating 40 hours a week to a place but the real question is why can't they afford housing, food and bills?
And they never do look at the whole picture especially once it becomes a political bone of contention.
In Saudi Arabia the thieves would just be arrested and have a hand removed at a public event. I've seen these.... They actually fill up an entire stadium of people coming to see thief losing his hand. There is a surgeon on hand and a medical team to make sure the person doesn't die from the injury.
