The federal government has reached levels of ineptitude and corruption the likes of which have never been seen before by man. They are nearly $20 trillion in debt, have far exceeded the 18 enumerated powers they were authorized to oversee, and are now oppressing the very people they are supposed to answer to and represent.

Picking his way through the Soviet archives that Boris Yeltsin had just thrown open, in 1991 Tim Sebastian, a reporter for the London Times, came across an arresting memorandum. Composed in 1983 by Victor Chebrikov, the top man at the KGB, the memorandum was addressed to Yuri Andropov, the top man in the entire USSR. The subject: Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Kennedy’s message was simple. He proposed an unabashed quid pro quo. Kennedy would lend Andropov a hand in dealing with President Reagan. In return, the Soviet leader would lend the Democratic Party a hand in challenging Reagan in the 1984 presidential election.

This is corruption at an inconceivable level. A limited resource critical for making nuclear weapons is essentially sold by Hitlery Clinton to our enemies for her own benefit. Now we have less of the resource necessary to build our nuclear arsenal and our enemies have more. But hey - at least Bill and Hitlery are set for life.

• Uranium One's mines account for 20% of the uranium mined in the US. Uranium is used for nuclear weapons, and it's considered a strategic asset to the US.

• Russia’s state-owned atomic agency, Rosatom, bought a 17% stake in Uranium One in June 2009.

• The Russian atomic agency decided it wanted to own 51% of Uranium One in June 2010. To take a majority stake in Uranium One, it needed approval from a special committee that included the State Department, which Hillary Clinton led at the time.

• Investors in Uranium One gave money to the Clinton Foundation starting in 2005 and through 2011. On June 29, 2010, Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 to speak in Russia by an investment bank with ties to Russia's government that had a buy rating on Uranium One’s stock.

• In January 2013, despite assurances to the contrary, a subsidiary of Rosatom took over 100% of the company and delisted it from the Toronto Stock Exchange.

• Clinton was required to disclose all of her foundation's contributors before she became secretary of state, but the Clintons did not disclose millions of dollars donated by the chairman of Uranium One while the review of the deal was ongoing.

Well we've certainly tried raising taxes (on everyone), redistributing wealth, and punishing job creators. How did that work out? Barack Obama became the first president in U.S. history to not oversee at least one year of 3% GDP growth. He also achieved record debt, record number of people on food stamps, and record number of people quitting the labor force.

So the federal government has been insisting on creating and passing legislation aimed at getting the private sector to adhere to cybersecurity regulations and yet these buffoons can't get their own house in order.

The Secret Service (which...with the exception of Special Forces....is the most well run, professional outfit in all of government) is not even capable of handling their primary function - security - when it comes to technology.

well lets talk about how well it work out ...under the clinton admistration we had a 200 billion dollar surplus due to tax increases ... now when Obama in office taxes never went up they went down ... so tell me again how you talk about record debt go down when taxes are dropped ... seems you need to do more research on that because his time in office was the least about of debt to be added to the national debt so once again you're sources are wrong
