Well, you are going to need more than a flag. You need to support the Article V movement and have your state representatives vote for it so we can amend the Constitution for things like Congressional term limits and a balanced federal budget.

Why don't we just repeal the laws of physics to make everything easier?

The goalposts have always been right where they were at the beginning.

Again, we the only nation who has footprints on the moon. Highest number of nobel prize winners, we're not too bad at the quadrennial Olympics either, strongest military, a massive record of benevolence (before Trump got in anyway) that was second to none, curing disease, etc...

I'd rather not have the deficit and the politics of Reagan and Tip O'neil. But currently we have one party that is pretty much center left and one party that is so far right that reality is based on "alternative facts"...so it seems more strained than it would be otherwise. Eventually the right wing will return to some semblance of sanity. It likely won't be during this administration--the one you support-- however.
while youre talking about the past I am more concerned about the future for my children and grandchildren and how we have left them worse off than we had it with crushing debt that result in high taxs with no end in sight from either party,,

its OK if you want to be ok with "good enough" but I strive for better

That is a valid concern.

Again..name what has been better. The floor is yours.

one being better isnt the discussion so stop moving the goal post,,

if things continue the way they are going we will go the way roman empire went as a self inflicted failure in history

Nobody has moved the goal posts.

Correct. Trump's treatment of our allies only means that we're more and more isolated and does nothing to strengthen the nation.

It's getting late, and I don't have time to draw an original Rendition for what my ideal party symbol is to be. However, I will announce that it is to be the "Gadsen Party!"

This is close to what I have in mind. But I'll do one of my own, eventually. I would like to see what others come up with too.

SassyIrishLass, this is why I commented on your avatar! I had been exploring this idea for some time, and your avatar reminded me of it.

you moved from two party system "working well enough" to "no country is better",,

thats called moving the goal post

but as youve shown your TDS has eaten your brain so I dont expect much more from you,,

The extremeists on bith sides have the affect of making it look like more and more people are moving to the middle, when the middle is hardly moving at all. (my opinion)

dems and repub are not on separate sides,,
both are on the authoritarian left with the dems being further left and both are moving more left everyday,,

I'm trying to think of a position that the GOP is arguably "authoritarian left" on. Do you have an example? I might agree.

gun control,, government controlled healthcare,, taxs including personal property taxs,, civil asset forfeiture,, legal weed,, regulations,, these are just starters

all around they want a government that goes beyond constitutional authority,,

bottom line is both parties are to the authoritarian left of the constitution,, its just the dems are farther left

I forgot whether it was you or Misery Mike who said he wanted to shoot me. So many nutjobs, so little time.
Shit, why would I ever shoot anyone that does such good work at getting MAGA Republicans elected.

It seems that you might conclude that the Constitution itself is authoritarian. Would that be fair to say?

dont move the goal post,,

I clearly said the GOP wants to and have gone beyond what the constitution authorizes them to do,,

I even gave examples that we can talk about,,

I'm not moving. Only trying to find a reference point. Do you consider the Constitution to be "authoitarian?"

when we finish the current discussion we can talk about that,,

so youre agreeing with me that the repubes are on the authoritarian left but just not as far as the dems?? ie "bigger government"

or are they on the right where we think even the constitution goes to far in some places?? ie "smaller government"??

I'm trying to see if you think the GOP is further left than the Constitution as far as authoritarianism is concerned.

I already answered that specifically in #72,,
I see you did. So, my next question is about the Constitution itself. Especially curious with regards to the OP and the ideal base of my (Gadsen) Party effort.
