I can already see a large drawback. Just like cell-phones people will have these things everywhere and subject all the people around them to crap no one wants to listen to.

Great technology though for learning to play if you don't have a guitar.

Hendrix is the starting point! They'll probably have a huge bank of sounds and you'll be able to play just about anything.

Real air guitar, its a pretty cool invention.
