The Fed Expects Years Of High Unemployment As The US Economy Recovers From The Coronavirus Pandemic

This is not good.

The fed is expecting the economy to contract by 6.5% by the end of the year but says they expect it to rebound by 5% in 2021. Which would bring the negative growth down to 1.5%.

They also expect the unemployment rate to get better by the end of the year down to 9.7%. They expect the unemployment numbers to stay high though getting lower down to maybe 5.5% in 2022.

We will see what happens. We sure aren't going to have that V recovery trump lied about.

Today the stock market lost close to 2 thousand points.
