Exactly. They seem to believe that since Trump got elected, that the majority of Americans are MAGA. What they ignore are the 86 million people who did not vote for either candidate. When you count them and the 75 million who voted for Harris, the majority of Americans are not MAGA, and they are the extreme. So really, there is not much to negotiate until Repubicans come closer to mainstream America.

Unless it adversely affects the poor and minorities. Our military is long overdue to be brought under control. So is education as well as addressing the debt. These things adversely affect all of us.

If subsidies are cut maybe it will force people to take better care of their health.
Considering the current state of the world we need the strongest military we can build.

I agree. This is why I wonder about people who think those advocating for such things are extreme leftists. It just doesn't make any sense. Then we have capitalism, which these guys think is so successful, but 1 percent of the people have the most of the wealth. That's not success, that's a recipe for total collapse.
