The enduring value of the "fake news" meme.

The alternate universe has been decades in the making, but it's an entirely separate, fully-functioning ecosystem right now.
And it's air tight because they close their eyes to the possibility reporting by left leaning media outlets is well sourced and valid.

Prove it? Ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaa! PROJECTION..............

Everything the left says and writes is packed with lies. It's they who can't prove dick.
How does one convince a trumple that a falsehood is a falsehood? It's virtually impossible since any factual support used to refute a demonstrable falsehood is immediately disregarded as "fake news."

The construct is perfect and self-sustaining.

I do not contend the "MSM," as you put it, does not make errors or is ideologically neutral. What I'm saying is over and over trumples disparage the source of information as if doing so makes the reporting false. It doesn't. It's lazy, and it reflects an unwillingness to examine the possibility something they believe is factually incorrect.
The msm in America today is nothing but WEF propaganda.

Polls show 70% of democrats TRUST the msm. SHEEP!

Lefties are so full of hatred and anger and disappointment that they can't tell the difference between a lie and the truth if it's what they want to hear. It's no secret that the overwhelming majority of the media outright lied to the American public about Biden's mental health in order to protect the democrat party. There is evidence that the mainstream media actually rigged polling data to indicate that Harris was in the lead when she was losing. How is it not "fake news"?

Check out the Trump cult tears flowing.

DearLeader told them that everyone would stop calling out their lies and laughing at them.

And that's not happening. If anything, everyone is laughing at them even harder.

So the cognitive dissonance is setting in. DearLeader was clearly wong, but DearLeader can never be wrong ... hence the sputtering incoherent rage.

The concept is simple. The "fake news" meme gives tacit permission for any trumple to dismiss out of hand, without factual refutation, any reporting that forces them to challenge their preconceived beliefs.

Ironically, many of those beliefs are based on demonstrable falsehoods reported by their chosen media sources.

How does one convince a trumple that a falsehood is a falsehood? It's virtually impossible since any factual support used to refute a demonstrable falsehood is immediately disregarded as "fake news."

The construct is perfect for someone, like the Orange Fraud, who wants everything he says to go unchallenged among the minions.
The media has done this to themselves with their constant stream of omissions, distortions and outright lies. On the rare occasion that they actually report the truth nobody in their right mind is going to believe them given the "fool me once shame on You, fool me twice shame on Me" principle.

Now that they're paying the price on their deteriorating bottom lines the media corporations are in a panic and starting to do what they should have been doing all along, like for example Comcast divesting itself from MSNBC and CNN desperately seeking conservative talking heads to balance out all the left-wing lunatics they regularly have had on air.

Meanwhile, Joe Rogan and his podcast are bigger than all of them combined and all he does is have an open forum and asks common sense questions, maybe they should all try to learn something from Joe instead of constantly bashing him. 🤷‍♂️

Because you made all that up, confirming our point that you're a brainwashed cult rube who resides in a kook alternate reality.

When my comments get marked as "Fake News" it tells me two things about the poster - that they're unable to rebut my comment BUT also have a compulsion to have the last "word" on the matter even though they are unable to refute it or contribute anything to the conversation or debate.

Trump Cult members are in fact willfully ignorant.

The 'fake news' lie is proof of that.

Wasn't it the New York Times that came up with this term? And then Trump turned it back on them?

The right's unwarranted attack on legitimate news sources is what created post-truth America.
Legitimate news services being compromised by the WEF/Democrats, working for the intentional collapse of America is why Americans turned away from the msm.

Msm is nothing but anti US propaganda consumed by democrats

The fake news media makes it easy to say fake news.
