The dollars and cents of tariffs.

So you are admitting that TRUMP tariffs will be passed to consumers
Yes, but when other countries are forced into fair trade agreements US citizens will benefit.

I am curious that you loons didn't seem to mind the stiff tariffs the Biden administration imposed on Chinese products, but that's different right ? Because Trump. Oh well partisan hacks gotta partisan hack.

Two of the three biggest trading partners of the US were Canada and Mexico. Both had free trade agreements signed by Trump himself. Trump has imposed multiple tariffs on them.

What tariffs is he trying to negotiate with them on? Use his words. They don't even know.

Edit: for clarity I am personally onside for the ones on China.

And you don't take the time to actually try to express your fucking point.

Fucktard.
Turns out it was evidently some TDS infected middle manager at an Amazon division that leaked this nonsense.

"The team that runs our ultra low cost Amazon Haul store considered the idea of listing import charges on certain products," Amazon spokesperson Tim Doyle said in a statement. "This was never approved and is not going to happen."

Amazon plans to list the cost of Trump's tariffs on products. This is deemed "hostile" by the administration and they're pretty made about it.

I guess Trump doesn't want you to know that his policies are costing you money.

Let me get this straight. Amazon is going to show what they pay for tariffs, thus revealing, through very simple math, their cost for the products they sell?

Really? So, all their customers will see that Amazon pays $2.00 plus a 10% tariff on something they then sell for $25.00?

Ok...

What exactly do you think Amazon's margins are? It's around 14%. So items that sell for $10 costs $8.60. Now they will cost $9.40 and you will pay $11 for the item with a nearly $1 tariff. Awesome.

<sob> But, but…….Biden did it too

NO President in a century has invoked tariffs of the magnitude of Trump. Others like Biden may have used selective tariffs. But Trump is invoking them on everyone BIGLY

One by one those countries are negotiating new trade deals that are better for the US. So why is that a bad thing, Winger? China will be forced to do the same thing or there will be an uprising over there. So what are you going to do when Trump's tariffs do exactly what he said they would? Apologize?

I'm fine with Amazon doing that. When countries agree to zero tarries, i hope Amazon will publish the savings to consumers and the increased sales for American manufacturing.

As it turns out, Bezos is still up trump's ass.

President Donald Trump personally called Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on Tuesday to complain about about a report that the online retail giant was considering displaying U.S. tariff costs on its product listings, a source familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Within hours of the call, Amazon publicly downplayed the scope of its plan — and then announced that it had been scrapped entirely.

The pressure campaign on Bezos by Trump and the White House came after Punchbowl News reported earlier Tuesday that Amazon will soon show consumers how much of an item’s cost comes from tariffs.

The amount added as a result of tariffs will be displayed right next to each product’s total listed price, a person familiar with the plan told the news outlet.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to the report by torching Amazon over what she called “a hostile and political act.”

I'm trying to imagine the reaction of trumples if Biden had used the power of the presidency to intimidate a national retailer in to obeying his command under threat of retribution.

When did any national retailer threaten to publish how much Biden's inflationary policies were adding to the cost of their goods? Did I miss that, Berg?

Too bad, it would be good for the world to see how much Amazon profits off of slave labor in China, the kind you support enthusiastically.

After all, someone has to pay for Bezos' big titty girlfriend to go into space, right?
