The Deep State Is Digging In

Just as they did in 2016, the deep state is forming insurance policies, just in case Trump should win. They are very unhappy that their deep state could be disassembled. Funny how they are just fine with forming the government in their own likeness and having loyalists (AKA the deep state) but if Trump wins, they don't want him doing it.

Liberal organizations in Washington are backing President Joe Biden and say they expect Trump to lose. But they're quietly trying to install roadblocks just in case.

A collection of activists, advocates and legal experts is promoting new federal rules to limit presidential power while urging Biden’s White House to do more to protect his accomplishments and limit Trump in a possible second term. All of that is happening with far less fanfare than plans by Trump supporters to create a conservative government-in-waiting via an effort known as “Project 2025.”

The Office of Personnel Management, the federal government's chief human resources agency, will finalize a rule by April against reclassifying tens of thousands of workers so they can be more easily fired, according to OPM spokesperson Viet Tran. A future administration would likely have to spend months or years unwinding the rule.

But, there is no deep state.

Good thinking, Trump cult losers. Get your excuses for losing in ahead of time.
You totally misunderstand the thread. The thread is not about the election, it is about the left being afraid Trump will win to the point of trying to make changes now so that if Trump does win, he will have a harder time dismantling the left's deep state.

That's not the "deep state". That's the people of the US protecting themselves from the tRumplings planned dissolving of Democracy.

Traitor Trump demonstrated time and time again that our republic's barriers against dictatorship would not stop him. It only makes sense to strengthen those barriers as he is going to surround himself with people even more maniacal and evil than the criminal mob he headed in his first administration.

For the first time in our history, we failed to have a peaceful transition of power. We looked like a Third World nation on January 6, 2021.

When you look at the VERY long list of Trump people who have been scandalized, arrested, imprisoned, and disgraced up to this point, it is obvious the only people craven enough to work for him going forward will be those who are willing to break down all barriers to being held accountable for their crimes.

If you thought Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell were evil, just wait til you see who comes next!

The real innsurection happened in 2016, looks like they are at it again.

I've been gaining a lot of insight as to what happened to Germany in the 1920s and 30s.
Traitor Trump demonstrated time and time again that our republic's barriers against dictatorship would not stop him.
The sheer number of similarities between now and then have simply become too numerous to avoid.

A charismatic (if profoundly mentally damaged) strongman leader playing to grievances and paranoia and demanding loyalty; an inner circle that plants seeds and covers tracks; enablers in the government who turn a blind eye; and a populace that feels victimized and is willing to overlook clear red flags, and doesn't fully understand the implications of what they support.

(The Trumpsters will look at this and say I'm talking about Biden, because that's the conditioning )

Yeah, I understand that period much more now. I sure wish I didn't.
