I condemned the bill. When I was condemning Trump's debt you all blamed it on everyone other than Trump.

What was said was that he couldn't veto a spending bill because it would make the Democrats mad. That hasn't seemed to have stopped Manchin has it?

Progs control the direction of the country. Have been for many many years. They have cheapened and reduced Capitol Hill rules for their short term advantage to get get huge pieces of legislation or other issues passed. They still could have had a chunk of this Bill. But their egos are to huge for the size of their heads. In what universe is having a near 50/50 government passing legislation like this a mandate? Even the last Bill passed is questionable. There needs to be a cleansing or curbing of legislation passed over the years that is stalling our economy in real growth.

Government assistance programs do not go away because they will need to be there to assist people. Much of the government assistance that was pandemic related was phased out because of that. Why should the government be providing assisstance to people who have jobs? Businesses are swimming in cash and yet employees still need assistance. Republicans are fine with this. It has taken the pandemic for workers to get a break.
