not sure what to make of thisThe referendum was in 2016....
The referendum didn't ask the UK people what they wanted, only what they wanted...
what it means is that a majority of voters do not like red, and that a majority do not like being part of the EUIt is like asking people if Red is there favourite colour and getting 48% saying they like Red and 52% saying they didn't. then proclaiming Red has been rejected in favour of another colour...
How do you know any of this? the media? look at your own poll, it shows that 64_66% only favor closer ties with the EU but not rejoining it, sounds to me like your poll is backing my take on this while your left with the spin on it...if not true then explain the first bar in the graph.Generally, the people are allowed to change their minds especially after 9 years and pretty heavy opinion polls showing that indication... In other EU countries these opinion polls would have politicians wanting to put the question back to the people again... There is a clear indication of a change of mind...
How bout every yearIF you want to make ten years between asking the question?
Thwarting election results is clearly not democratic, especially when elections which define democracy are being undermined by a media with an agenda, your poll and its claim make that obvious. But saying no revotes is not democratic... We got the vote we want and we will never ask them again because now they discovered how awful that mistake was is clearly not democratic...
