The election throughly refute the Tory party and they were the most pro Brexit, so from election point of view the Brexit leaders were throughly rejected...OK, I fully understand that point of view, but that only proves you think you have good reason to subvert democracy, in fact it's an admission that you believe you have good reason for disregarding elections.
All in all though I do get your disgust.
I would have also preferred a straight out Referendum because the first was so badly worded... It actually asked the UK people what they didn't want, not what they actually wanted... UK was not given a vote on what they wanted, I and every poll believe membership of the EU would win this quite easilly...
I wanted that because it would put a nail in the anti EU crowd... When all choices are put on the table EU would be the most popular by single vote, run off or preference vote... I am confident in that and I think that should be brought to the bank...
The pro Brexit leaders don't want a second vote... A vote on what people want..
