The "Beautiful" Budget bill in Congress right now (pushed by both Trump and Johnson), would raise National debt by $4 Trillion, if passed!

And when it’s Democrats doing the spending and increasing the debt the left doesn’t care and the right feigns outrage. When you only care about this when the other side is doing it you really care at all it’s not the spending and the debt increase that upsets you just who is doing it.

Gotta control spending and reduce the deficit.
I know, I can write another bad check.
I'm fucking brilliant..........A "stable genius".
45 years of trying to put a square peg in a round hole. (tax cuts)
My boss deserves a raise.
Hasn't worked, not even once, yet the dumb shits try it again.

Supply-side economics works every time it is tried.

An overview of a congressional issue according to PBS? You have to be a fool if you believe this shit but if it's on the internet and it's anti-Trump it must be true.

Bullshit again. Try for the hat trick, son.

PS, probably they work if an econ lacks, or needs more, capital

Trump's actions of cutting spending by getting rid of many of the department's presently in place at the beginning of 2025, was supposed to get rid of much of the debt that U.S. has amassed over the past 60 years. Nonetheless and if passed, the present budget bill that Johnson has put together and that Trump supports, will add to the U.S debt by $4 Trillion. In addition, it takes away from the poor (cuts Medicaid for 7.6 to 10.3 million) and gives more money to the rich.

AI Overview

The House budget resolution being considered in Congress proposes a $4 trillion increase to the debt limit, according to PBS and McGuireWoods Consulting. This is intended to allow the Treasury to continue paying bills and avoid a federal debt default. The bill also includes provisions for tax cuts and potential cuts in other areas to offset the cost, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

AI Overview

The potential impact of President Trump's budget bill on Medicaid enrollment is significant, with estimates varying between 7.6 and 10.3 million people potentially losing coverage by 2034 if the proposed cuts and reforms are enacted.

Is this what Americans need and want?

Thanks for the link.

  • Gross federal debt grew by $6.3 trillion over the first three years and five months of President Trump’s term and $7.8 trillion during his full term; gross debt has grown $7.0 trillion during President Biden’s term so far.
DURR.

This is not about "caring". This is about being elected and being faithful to the oath you took. What the other side did or did not due is of no importance to what YOU (as the current president and party in power) does.

One other thing that is important. We are in a 3-tiered government (House, Senate, and President) and it is all about offering solutions to the problem and all other parts of the government agreeing. This is why this is a Democracy where no one person decides what needs to be done, it is done with the approval of the people.

This is why when a party is not able to get something done is because "the people" did not agree to it.

This is also why "compromising" is so important, and I have to say that it is the Republicans that have carried the "my way or the highway" mentality and why nothing happened during the Biden administration.

We need to cut, not raise spending. When Biden wanted to add $6.4 trillion and Manchin and Sinema voted against it, I supported them and I will support all the Republicans that vote against this. I am for DOGE and their cutting waste, I am also for cutting the budget, this is unacceptable, we need to cut, raise taxes and wind down the debt before it bites us.

Nope. Biden ran up more debt.

Debt the day Trump took office: $19.9 trillion.

Day he left: $27.75

Total added: $7.85 trillion.

Debt the day your Vegetable Messiah took office: $27.75

Day he shuffled out: $36.1 trillion.

Total added: $8.35 TRILLION.

With no pandemic.

Why do you lie in every post?
