That when all the morality of the 1950s and before was wiped out.

When cocaine use became mainstream. When abortion-on-demand became legal.

When the Death Penalty was abolished -before it was re-instated with Gary Gilmores GRANDSTANDDING "Lets Do It"

If there is one phrase that sums up liberalism in a nutshell it is "drug-of-choice."

The liberal era ended with the assassination of Robert Kennedy. Liberals boarded Bobby's funeral train and were never seen or heard from again. The 70's was the beginning of the conservative era that John Kenneth Galbraith was deeply concerned about when he and President Kennedy planned to head off any escalation in Vietnam. But JFK's assassination reversed the withdrawal JFK planned, and led to the deaths of 60,000 American soldiers, the splintering of the Democratic Party, and the conservative era that has destroyed this nation.

The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived and dishonest – but the myth – persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.
President John F. Kennedy

All those "Liberals" are republicans now. Face it, if you werent smoking dope and protesting in the 70's you weren't getting laid. Thats the plain truth of it. Another thing the hippy movement ushered in which you so conveinantly forgot,

End of Veitnam (pointless bloody war)
Equal Rights for women (aww sorry you can't beat your wife anymore, I know the 50's were such an era of morals.)

Sorry you guys missed all the fun.

Its been steadily downhill (funwise) ever since the conservative movement got in bed with the religious right.

Now the only people who get to have unbridled sexual orgies are the Televangleists and members of CONGRESS.

It's THE LAW!
