Thanks To Biden’s Border Crisis, The Million-Dollar Migrant Smuggling Industry Is Now Worth Billions

And if they don't pay (most of these people are dirt poor)...what happens?
There are options. They can get a job and make payments. They can work for the cartel. If they can't or won't pay, they are killed. Sometimes their entire family is killed.

Sure have. Was stationed in Yuma for 3 years. Very first day on the job while the range warden was showing me around the ranges closest to the base we ran across 5 illegals that had made it that far. It was early July and afternoon, they are more than ready to be caught so they could get something to drink.

On a not so rare occasion we had to cease close air support training and bombing runs as there were illegals in the middle of the range. They knew the BP would not follow them there.
Then how come you think the illegals can make that crossing by themselves?

BS we are back to morals and reality and away from hate and racism again. What a nightmare you people are. None of your conspiracies are true no election fraud vaccination global warming you name it no conspiracies lol. and your love for the rich swine, injustice, and savage capitalism is noted super duper...

I know you're trying to anger me and it's fine because I'm not angry at all. Contrarians on this board are a dime a dozen and boring because you exist to try and cheese off others and never offering anything worthwhile or engaging.

That's why you have over 70k posts and only a little over 6k in reactions.

Do you not read or listen to any kind of news reports (found daily by multiple sources) about human smuggling and coyotes (term for human smugglers) who are getting paid? Human smugglers typically load up a vehicle with paying migrants who know they are sneaking in to avoid the checkpoints (where they know they’d be vetted) and for additional money will give these migrants false paperwork for false ID’s.
I have provided no less than a half dozen links, and that moron still denies realty.

There are smugglers.
There is a cartel.

Does everyone crossing our border do so at the mercy of the cartel and smugglers as is being alleged here?

Don't be stupid. I mean...it's a 1200 mile border. Do you really think they are patrolling it any more than we are?

Think for yourself for once.
Once again you expose what a colossal, ignorant, uninformed moron you are.

I am not trying to anger you I am trying to tell you the truth that all of your beliefs are garbage propaganda and crazy conspiracies. The whole world agrees. Where I live is 72% trump and great people but their politics are crazy. I'd say 70% of them

The only solution I can see is to turn back 100% of the migrants to the point people realize its not worth it. Simply continue with legal immigration programs. Once accepted they would come in on a commercial flight.
It would be much easier for a Honduran to apply at the U.S. embassy in Honduras than walking all the way to Juarez.

There is no "legal migration program". Trump dismantled it and ended all legal immigration. That's why it's taken so long to process the Afghan immigrants who had worked for the Americans before the war ended. That's why the border isn't open. That's why Trump's National Emergency at the Southern Border, continues.

These people are REFUGEES. They're fleeing gang violence in the home countries, and they're fleeing climate related drought.
The reasons for poverty in Latin America are many. If you took away the war on drugs, there still would have been poverty and corruption. Rural populations with lots of kids = poverty for ONE. Hell even here in the U.S. families choose to only have one kid, often because they want to maintain and be able to afford their lifestyle. Try having 8 kids and being a farmer.. in Honduras. You'll probably be mostly poor.
Thats only one example. Governments down there are even more self serving than our government, which is saying a lot. Its a major factor.

Go back and read what's happened in Central America since 1970. You'd be surprised that NOTHING you posted is has been applicable since the 1960's.

In 2020, the United States granted 707,362 people lawful permanent resident status,

I miss the part where Trump ended it all?
If we didnt have so many illegal immigrants to chase after, we probably COULD have more Legal immigration.

"In 2020, the United States granted 707,362 people lawful permanent resident status, a significant drop from the usual average of more than a million. The states with the largest immigrant populations are California, New York, Florida, and Texas.

Mexico is the top origin country of the U.S. immigrant population. Tracking U.S. immigration trends across the decade from 2011-2020, the U.S. welcomed a total of nearly 10.3 million immigrants, of which nearly 1.5 million (14.3%) were from Mexico, more than twice that of any other country. This is arguably unsurprising, given the geographical proximity of Mexico to the United States. China (713,527) and India (631,689) occupy the second and third slots (for full data, see the table at page bottom)."

All the ones we encountered were by themselves. plus back then the borders were not wide open like you all say they are now
They had guides and probably abandoned. In the 90s I belonged to a group that would go to the border and help out the people that lived there. Pick up trash, mend fences and water lines. Once we watched a home overnight while the owner went to a doctor's appointment. We would sometimes come across invaders that had been abandoned. Something spooks the Coyote and he takes off. Or, the group isn't moving fast enough. They get left behind. We would chase them back into the desert. If they were mueling drugs we radioed the border patrol.

Hmmm...

Doesn't make sense.

One would think if it were so easy to get across the border--as you guys swear it is--you wouldn't need a smuggler. The value of their enterprise should be going down instead of rising. Like few use a travel agent any longer because it is so easy to plan the vacation yourself. If you can just walk across the border, get apprehended then gain entry, why would you pay a smuggler?

Again, the thread is likely just complete and utter bullshit
Yeah, and Hell is locked from the inside.

Thank you for doing that.

I found myself wondering, about a year ago, what had happened to an old client of mine who lived in Tucson. I looked her up online and found that she had died and someone was idolizing her as a hero because she had given aid -- food, water and clothing -- to the illegal border crossers.

I was glad she was dead.

Sometimes people help because they are afraid not to. Especially older people. Our group once stayed at an elderly woman's home while she went overnight to a medical appointment. If her house had been empty it would have been stripped to the studs. There was someone with a gun at every window and door. I can't imagine living there.

Thanks To Biden’s Border Crisis,

The Million-Dollar Migrant Smuggling Industry Is Now Worth Billions

Just a year and a half of President Joe Biden’s border crisis has emboldened dangerous cartels for decades to come.
11 Oct 2022 ~~ By Jordan Boyd

While President Joe Biden “scrambles” to address Ukraine’s border war with Russia, the U.S. border sits vulnerable to a host of criminal activity that is quickly seeping into all 50 states.
That’s problematic because in just a year and a half, Biden’s border crisis has made it increasingly easier for transnational criminal organizations raking in hundreds of millions of dollars each year smuggling migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border to become even more profitable and powerful.
~Snip~
Biden unleashed the floodgates of illegal immigration and all of the other criminal activity that accompanies it when he eradicated key border security measures such as the “Remain in Mexico” policy, which required asylum-seekers to await court decisions in Mexico, and Title 42, a policy designed to expedite the expulsion of illegal border crossers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Considering most Americans trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle immigration and border security issues, it’s no surprise that red candidates in key midterm races are calling for solutions that Democrats in the White House and Congress are unwilling to face. Whether Republicans will be successful in their attempts to curb the border “terrorists” is yet to be determined, but one thing is clear: Regardless of the GOP’s future attempts to fix the crisis, Biden’s enabling of the disaster has only been good business for smugglers who seek to profit handsomely from the exploitation of migrants.

Commentary:
A loose border validating the business model of smugglers has been going on at least since a president wagged his bent finger and said that he didn’t have sex with that woman.
Was anyone else watching Biden’s press secretary Jean Pierre the other day when she was talking about immigration? She said they have done everything they can to get things under control, but Trump left such a mess they haven’t been able to get things back on track yet.
These aren’t just lies, they’re massive falsehoods.
Biden keeps saying the stock market is the best it has ever been, and I’m talking only a few days back when it was off by $7 Trillion in market cap.
To vote for people on the Left, you have to have severe brain damage.

Trump stole millions in donations to build the wall. That is why it never got built plus walls don't keep illegals out, enforcing our immigration laws does.
