And that's the reason they never try to get better paying jobs. As long as they can maintain a low income, they get their government goodies. Take away those government goodies, and people would try harder to increase their income and be better off in the end.
Do you really want to compete against someone willing to work for less than you do now? Because the very fact you can't rate health insurance, I don't think you'd want more people competing for your job. "Yeah, I'll hire Jamal for $5.00 less an hour than Ray. I want to go to Italy next year."
And you'll be hating on Jamal for taking your job.
You want socialism and equity? Then let me ask, why would anybody pay all that money for college if they were only going to make a couple thousand more a year than a floor sweeper?
