In a Republic, actually
“An annual Pride Week celebration in Austin schools is breaking state law, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said this week, marking the state's latest move to confront LGBTQ rights. Austin's school district said the events will nevertheless continue.
[…]
In recent months, the Texas legislature, Paxton and Gov. Greg Abbott have doubled down on restricting LGBTQ rights and have particularly targeted trans youth.”

Compel conformity, fear diversity.

Paxton is right.

Parents are in charge.

NOT school districts

I don't understand, if it breaks state law, are they going to arrest the superintendent, the principles and the teachers for. . .

"The school district says the Pride events will continue as scheduled through the rest of the week."

:dunno:

You can't arrest people for civil violations.

If public schools had a "celebrate Judaeo-Christian Heritage Week," during the week of Passover/Lent, you would lose your shit. . . cut the crap already.

The schools need to stay out of indoctrinating other people's kids.

Good. It's time to stop endorsing sicko mentally ill sexual fetishes as 'normal' and allowing the freaks near children.

In a couple years we will be having Texas high school graduates still believing that storks bring babies.

Label it as you like, it's against Texas LAW. When those laws work in the favor of the Left they are used as cudgels against people. He should sue the individual School District members who are breaking the LAW.

Texas AG is scum.

Can you not read?
Of course, the article only states;

"Paxton said that parents can file complaints against the school district with the school board and the Texas Education Agency."

I reiterate, DO YOU THINK ANY CONSEQUENCES WILL COME OF COMPLAINTS?

:dunno:

That wasn't the question you asked or that I answered.

You asked about criminal charges and these are civil violations.

The answer would be then through the civil courts.
