I always laugh to myself when I see hyperventilating journalists pointing out what "young people" are doing, and acting as though it is significant.

Young people, by definition, are uneducated, immature, lacking in real-life experience, naïve, and change their minds as often as the wind changes direction. Moreover, they are, by nature, easily led and mis-led, and lacking in intelligent skepticism. In addition, their primary influences are entertainers, equally inexperienced teachers, and their moronic peers. I know all this because I was a teenager once.
