There are some who graduate University or College and never use the career resource department at their college and never stay in touch with their former teachers or professors and ended up failing life and cannot get the job they want and have no job. Teachers and professors need to stay in touch and in communication with their former college students to make sure the grads succeed in life.

I taught high school for most of my career, and I have always kept in touch with one of my former students. In fact, I saw here last night in person. She is married to a nice young man, has a 16-year-old daughter, and is a disabled Army veteran. She is my daughter-in-law and she is the mother of my granddaughter. They live 5 minutes away, and you don't get much closer than that.
