Teachers Freaking Out Over Trump

I view the classical education model as the only responsible way to teach children.

Then you should be all for removing the Dept. of Education. They are solely responsible for moving further and further away from the classical model.

I got so many awards at school, my parents made me clean the cat box every time I got one in order to keep me humble. They were worried my academic success would go to my head
.

They shouldn't have worried so much ...
You're just too stupid to understand what they were suggesting ...

No need to worry. Not much of anything has gone to your head, thus why you support Democrats.

If they wanted to teach that nit-wit humility ... Screw the cat box.
It would take more like a 100 pound pit bull and a shovel in the backyard to even make a dent ... :auiqs.jpg:

Are you saying you are ok with left-wing indoctrination but not right-wing indoctrination?
No there shouldn’t be any indoctrination, including Christianity indoctrination.

You are withholding a solid education from your kids.
How? They get the same or better curricula and complete it a lot faster with fewer distractions, AND have more play time. What studies can you produce that say the average homeschooled student lags behind his government schooled counterparts?

Yea. You’re good with that kind of indoctrination, aren’t ya? That’s what I thought.

Our children don't attend public school and no I'm not in favor of anything "religious" being displayed in public schools. I've said all along it's likely unconstitutional and if you weren't a ignorant flaming jackass that doesn't pay attention to anything but your own gas you'd have realized that ya Fckn clown

Uh huh. And is it Republicans or Democrats pushing to put the 10 Commandments and prayer into schools?

Teachers UNION(commies) are as much a threat to America as the profe$$ional envirowhacko$. Fire them all!
No government employees should be allowed to have unions, and it was like that for a long time, until it wasn't. It's antithetical to the peoples' best interests.

Back in my day, teachers couldn't discuss their politics or sexuality or they'd be fired on the spot.
Kids would try to get the ones they didn't like to slip up. Or whoever they could just because that's how it was.
Same here. There were no taboo subjects in our public schools other than those dictated by cultural expectations of good manners. I could tell you the religious affiliation of maybe three or four of my teachers but could not tell you what any of them believed in any aspect of religion. The students, however, could freely discussed and express religion and their faith in the schools including student led prayers before assemblies, generic prayers at all sporting events etc. We pledged allegiance to the flag every morning at the beginning of the school day and enthusiastically sang the National Anthem at assemblies and sporting events. Every student was expected to know the words to the first verse of the Anthem.

I could not tell you the political affiliation of ANY of my teachers or what any of their political views were even though we students could express whatever opinions we had about government, who got elected President or any other political office etc.

And we got an education that allowed us to compete with anybody. I would put our high school education up against any four year college graduate now.
