No, the vaccines cannot change your DNA.

Two of the COVID-19 vaccines approved for emergency use authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration use mRNA, or messenger RNA, to instruct your body to build the coronavirus' spike protein. Your body then produces antibodies to combat the coronavirus when it encounters it later. Learn more about how antibodies work.

mRNA is very fragile, and it's very quickly degraded once inside the body. That's one of the reasons why these vaccines must be so carefully preserved at very low temperatures and why you need two doses.

Additionally, DNA is stored in the nucleus of your cells. mRNA vaccines are designed to do their work outside of the nucleus and have not been observed to interact with the nucleus. Learn more about how mRNA vaccines work.

Also, that encouraging people not to get vaccinated based upon unfounded fears delays, if not prevents, herd immunity from ever being achieved -- which obviously kills lots of people. As was pointed out early in this thread, in order to get this result they used what would be the equivalent you getting a bathtub sized injection of the vaccines.

This is the same thing they did back when they declared that saccharin caused cancer. The amount they gave the lab rats was equivalent of someone drinking something like 500 Tabs a day.

What they didn't account for that I could see was how long it took that concentration to accumulate in the liver of a person. Obviously the rate matters. They never actually said that any reverse transcribed material crossed into the nucleus of a liver cell which is what it would have to do in order to actually alter the cell's genome.

Crossing a cell's nuclear membrane requires a specific peptide or combination of peptides that have an extremely short viability in the cell and there is no evidence that the mRNA in a vaccine contains the code for those peptides

The study did not go beyond 48 hours. They used liver cells and could see that the mRNA transcribed. I don't know what you mean by "accumulate"

There are indications that the vaccines do far more than they should--not in a good way--at the cellular level. As in, they could change your DNA. If that is true, it leads to genotoxicity: cancer, and possibly autoimmune diseases.

More studies are needed, but these were much too rushed.
