Stone Mountain Confederate Carving

That carving isn't that impressive. Unless the light is right or you know where to look, you probably won't even notice it.
I have no particular opinion about it. Not my state; not my carving. I've done the ground route up the mountain a few times. It is kind of cool seeing all the pock marks from lightening strikes.

Absolutely destroy it-- turn that monument to traitors into gravel to use on roads.

And yes, I have climbed it, as did a woman wearing high heels and carrying two small dogs.
They weren’t traitors. They seceded. The union then attacked to recoup.
You’re a perfect example of why we need monuments like this in order to teach history accurately.

No. It's magnificent. I've been there many times. I don't give a shit what it depicts, it's part of our history. And it's a very good carving.

Should have the Russians left up all the statutes of Stalin? Or Iraqis and statutes of Saddam?

No, but you can remove a statue to a museum, where it belongs. You can't move a mountain.

You think all the statutes of Stalin were put into museums?

The carving was a conservative reaction to the civil rights movement. The very fact it exists is in retaliation to the downfall of segregation.
