Trump’s troop reversals in Europe could cost taxpayers millions, officials say

The U.S. military is waiting for clarity from the Pentagon following President Donald Trump's back-and-forth on troop levels in Europe, upending the lives of military personnel and potentially costing taxpayers millions of dollars, two U.S. defense officials told The Associated Press.

To no one's real surprise, Our Beloved President has floated a couple ideas about moving some of our troops in NATO-Europe, or even cutting the numbers. Various Left-slanted news sources (see link) are fretting that moving them might cost some money.

Oddly, most Americans are not fretting about the cost of MOVING them, but rather the cost of…Wait a second! What T.F. are they still DOING over there????? The Soviet Union is dead. The Europeans are able to provide their citizens with mountains of FREE STUFF because they don't have to pay for their own security! They have better healthcare, better infrastructure, more wasteful governments, partly AT OUR EXPENSE.

We would be happy to pay for bringing them back home and turning over those bases to the countries where they sit. Who really give a shit about the cost of moving them from one country to another, when that makes strategic sense?
