I went to Wal Mart today. And decided to check out what they're charging for printers these days. Because mine isn't working any more. The shelves were empty. Probably because of people using their stimulus checks to buy them up. The same thing was true for the big screen TV's. And though I didn't check, the same thing was probably true for their laptop computers.

With all these things being made in China, it must be stimulating the hell out of their economy. Seeing how those things are made there. To hell with any tariffs. Our country needs to see to it that one top quality of any product be made here in the U.S. For cost. Support the businesses that make whatever. Maybe even provide decent free housing to the workers who make whatever. Maybe even make it a sort of military operation. Instead of letting wage slave countries dump cheap products on the U.S. to destroy American jobs. And make us dependent on those countries. Or in other words, be their bitch. We should do what is necessary to stimulate our economy by buying such things.

Despite what I said here, I still say that Americans shouldn't use their stimulus checks to pay rent with. As I said elsewhere, the average minimum hourly wage here in the U.S. is $11.80 an hour. If you are lucky enough to work a 40 hour week, that comes out to $1888 a month. The stimulus checks are around $600 less than that. Only an idiot would waste it on rent. Because you probably won't get another. And who knows when people can safely start getting back to work.

THE average minimum hourly wage here in the U.S. IS NOT $11.80 AN HOUR.

You have been quarantined into the USMB, what are you trying to teach us? That everything purchased, Corona or not, benefits China? People, don´t buy anything anymore.

Number one.

Unless you think Wal*mart does business on a consignment basis, the merchandise you see in the stores was paid for months ago. So, there is that. I would think you should get a clue on how supply chains work.

It is very bad advice to not pay your bills with the so-called stimulus. That money is going to people who DON"T have a job right now, minimum wage or otherwise. Only an idiot would waste it on items that don't help them.

I received a 1200 dollar deposit, so did my wife. 1200 dollars is about 1.25% of our weekly gross income. So, we are using it to replace the car that was totaled when some bint who cannot judge stopping distance on a snow-covered off-ramp.

I should add that the money is being used as a down payment.

I looked it up and that's what they said.

Anything made in China that we buy benefits China. And one of the big problems we're having these days is that most of the protective clothing is made there too. Maybe that's why our outbreak became worse than theirs.

We should not care if something benefits China. We should care what benefits our countries. Trump´s path of idiocy creates a situation of increasing tensions with economic dependencies at the same time. If Trump forces the economy to produce in the US, he doesn´t need to confront China.

I usually look items up on the internet before I buy anything...I check for price and features that I want in the item...and now I will also take a look at where its made....

democrats love china ! vote dem vote china !

Think about that: If Trump wanted to bring the production back to the US, he wouldn´t need a "better trade deal". That is the same Trump who aggressively pushed for the wall after he lost the house.

Both sides love China.
Then both sides suck. The deal is, don't vote for anyone who thinks Red China is merely OK. Red China totally sucks, murderers that they are

People are too brainwashed to vote for anybody who isn't dangled in front of them like a puppet on TV. Even if there was a National Socialist candidate to run, chances are he would have secretly got the funding for it from the jews. And would secretly owe their allegiance to them. I will show you a couple of pictures with quotes of such jews.

We don't need better trade deals with China. What we need is no trade with china. At least very limited trade. For somebody making around $11.00 an hour in the U.S., which is the average minimum wage, what can somebody in China making $1.00 an hour buy from us. Under those circumstances, any talk of trade is a joke.

I agree with the first part. And unless we completely close our border with mexico, any talk of a wall is a joke.

Dealing damage to other countries is not benefitting America but the swamp that Phrump pretends to oppose. Only idiots believe this or that country is suddenly an enemy because Phrump said so. No, China is not an enemy of America, but the swamp is an enemy of China. An enemy of Kuba, an enemy of Venezuela, of Iran, of, of, of.
I don´t see any of the republicans here on USMB demanding that Trump keeps his promises.
