Most companies are bringing the people back to the office... production is just not as good with them at home... the government workers don't care about production... they have lifetime jobs whether they produce or not...
I hope that asking for some sources for these claims, is not out of the question?
Obviously too lazy to get up and get ready for the day and go to work... that's lazy in my book... and these people work for me and you... can we trust their private wifi? with our information?... there are all kinds of reasons they should work in their offices and not from home... I can't even count them all off hand from productivity to safety issues....
Working from home was the only good thing to come out of COVID. If the work gets done, that's all that matters to me.
And many companies are also downsizing office space. It depends. Some companies don't trust nor like even their best workers. Some trust and treat their workers well. It's about a 50/50 split out there in the illbegotten rat race.
The work is not getting done... that's the point... and DOGE will uncover that... you choose to listen to the people who are working from home to judge their efficiency... that stupid...
There are all kind of anecdotal crap about this issue... half is just BS... companies are not downsizing in mass or the economy would be collapsing... FACT: people are more productive working in an office not from home waiting for your emails to be answered while you play on your phone....

There's nothing to learn from some out of touch geriatric who doesn't understand how the workplace has changed. There are plenty of studies that say it doesn't adversely impact productivity, and that it makes for happier employees. My mom ran a company from home for almost two decades, with 100% of the employees working from home.
Sure. But I support workers. And why the hell would workers want to accept crappier working conditions?
Because it’s a job and requires some to work in a team and or train younger / newer workers.
