Start the Federal Govt slashing: Senate Investigation finds only 6% of federal employees work from office full time

Some are I'm sure but how many? 10% 70% how many?

So 56% and increasing? how does that tally with " I know companies are bringing their workers back"?

What problem is it, that you think this would solve exactly? Give us the problem statement that your suggestion is a solution to.
Most companies are bringing the people back to the office... production is just not as good with them at home... the government workers don't care about production... they have lifetime jobs whether they produce or not...
They work for you and me pal... keep that in mind...

I hope that asking for some sources for these claims, is not out of the question?

But if they were lazy they wouldn't be working.
Obviously too lazy to get up and get ready for the day and go to work... that's lazy in my book... and these people work for me and you... can we trust their private wifi? with our information?... there are all kinds of reasons they should work in their offices and not from home... I can't even count them all off hand from productivity to safety issues....
The covid party is over libs... get use to it...

Working from home was the only good thing to come out of COVID. If the work gets done, that's all that matters to me.

And many companies are also downsizing office space. It depends. Some companies don't trust nor like even their best workers. Some trust and treat their workers well. It's about a 50/50 split out there in the illbegotten rat race.

The work is not getting done... that's the point... and DOGE will uncover that... you choose to listen to the people who are working from home to judge their efficiency... that stupid...

There are all kind of anecdotal crap about this issue... half is just BS... companies are not downsizing in mass or the economy would be collapsing... FACT: people are more productive working in an office not from home waiting for your emails to be answered while you play on your phone....

More stupid or less stupid than listening to you from your home to judge their efficiency?

COVID playtime is over people... its time to make America great again and you don't do that in your pajamas...
Plus people are gaining weight at home 10 steps from their kitchen... and that ends up costing us also in healthcare expenses....
Get your asses up and go to work or retire....

Working from home can sometimes lead to decreased productivity due to factors like distractions from the home environment, lack of clear boundaries between work and personal life, potential isolation from colleagues, and difficulty maintaining a structured routine, which can make it harder to stay focused and motivated.
Period...

Yeah, well, obviously not dumb enough to buy what you're selling.
Too stupid to learn... that's pretty dumb....

Well if they can force people to take experimental drugs, then the least they can do is improve their working conditions. Unless people are straight up not doing their jobs, I don't care if they work from the office, from home, from under a highway bridge, or from a tunnel network in a jungle.
It should be up to the business/agency

There's nothing to learn from some out of touch geriatric who doesn't understand how the workplace has changed. There are plenty of studies that say it doesn't adversely impact productivity, and that it makes for happier employees. My mom ran a company from home for almost two decades, with 100% of the employees working from home.
