I'm more inclined to believe the attacks were manipulated with increased damage orchestrated by a private intelligence organization, much like The Safari Club, which had very close ties with the Project for a New American century.

That is certainly possible, but as Christopher Bollyn and others documented 20+ years ago, the role of Israeli corporations in those attacks is very apparent. Just a few, PTech, Transtech Airfield Management, and of course the shenanigans at WTC with Silverstein et al.
