They are so prevalent now that you cannot avoid seeing them. More and more of them are on drugs. She’s spent a crapload of money on the homeless problem and it’s gotten worse. Keep in mind that Spencer Pratt is getting his funding from Democrats. He’s also meeting with people, every day. Full time campaigning.

Being honest, it wouldn’t matter if the voting was in person, by mail, or by carrier pigeon. The Democrats outnumber the Republicans in California, by a lot. It’s easy to mobilize a lot of voters in compact areas, like the cities.

So we agree, there should be greater restrictions on mail in voting, because it is unnecessary for so many ballots to be mail in.

No blues ever win in red municipalities and vice versa?

Democrat Davis won 58% of the vote.

He was recalled and a Republican, Arnold Schwarzenegger beat the Dem by 17 points.

Blues do not always win in blue munis and reds do not always win in red munis.

If that was case, we would not need elections. Just see who has the most registered voters by party and that candidate wins without wasting all the time and money on campaigns and elections.

Many Democrats waited to mail in their ballots until the very last day due to the gubernatorial. It was a strategy. They were afraid that with that many candidates two Republican candidates could advance to the general election in November. Therefore they held their ballots and mailed them on Election Day. This works because the ballots only have to be postmarked by the date of the election not received by that day.

How did this affect the mayoral race in Los Angeles? Simple, it’s the same ballot.
