I am glad you want Karen Bass defeated.Pratt cares about whatever will get him elected, until he gets elected. Just like every other politician.

Pratt is doing very well. So far, he leads Bass in the polls. Next will be the election. Nuts may well stem Pratts tide. But there are more insane voters than sane voters.

He does NOT lead Bass in the polls, never has. He has risen pretty much in the last few weeks (more than the others) but he is at 22% compared to Bass who is at 30% and Democrat city Councilmember Nithya Raman is in third place with 19%. The top two go into November, which Pratt looks like he will do. But, when November rolls around, the ones currently supporting Nithya Raman (all democrats) aren't going to vote for Pratt. They will vote for Bass, which would give Bass 49% of the vote compared to 22% for Pratt, with the remaining 29% being undecided. So, in order for Pratt to win, he would have to pick up slightly more than 28% out of that 29% while Bass only has to pick up a little over 1% of the undecideds. Fat chance in California. You would be a total fool to bet much money on Pratt, unless it's a small bet trying to play the long odds like in a horse race where the 70- shot almost never wins.
