If Trump attempts to "calm" the nation he is accused of downplaying the severity of the virus. If Trump restricts travel to slow the spread of the virus he is accused of xenophobia and inciting panic. If Trump provides economic stimulus to prevent collapse he is accused of big business bailout. If Trump tries to accelerate vaccine development he is accused of rushing an unsafe vaccine. I could go on and on, but you get the point here. The virus was and remains a political golden parachute for the left but so far Biden hasn't said one thing that would have changed the course of the virus impact in the US for the better, if anything It would have been worse.

The problem is Trump tried to play both sides against each other and it came back to bite him. The reality is that no one knew what this virus would be like or how to respond to it, and nothing that has been done has stopped it..We, are powerless as are the rest of the humans on the planet and instead of fighting each other should be communicating and exchanging information to fight the enemy of humanity. Trump made no international effort to lead a fight against the disease which is what the US has been known for in the past...

This is a VIRUS and like any virus it cannot be stopped. We as humans can take almost symbolic steps to slow the spread but the virus is genetically programmed to replicate, find a host, and even mutate to ensure it's continued survival. What can we do to protect ourselves from an inevitable encounter with the virus? We can vaccinate ourselves and that vaccine will be available to us in record time thanks to Trump.

Well, COVID can be spread by merely being in the presence of those affected. That’s not true for cancer, heart diseases, HIV or abortion. So yeah, we have enacted social distancing and sometimes strict measures to prevent its spread and save lives. We don’t do that for other diseases because that wouldn’t be an effective way to combat them.
