True story. Last week my daughter needed a new phone charger. Ordered one off Ebay and next day it was shipped USPS. She tracked it...started in California, went to Des Moines, then our home city. The next day it was back in Des Moines and then to Louisville and yesterday she got it. 10 days....give me Fed Ex or UPS

the rates were for five day service.

So let’s truck it around for five days. Yep that’s government for ya.

Socialism is inferior to capitalism because people are not given an incentive to excel. If a grocery store clerk makes as much as a doctor but both get free healthcare and pensions and subsidized housing, why would people choose to be doctors? Greater good?

Capitalism has it's problems also. There are those capitalists so driven to excel that a handful of them can now buy off our elected representatives and end up owning half the country. At the top, the democrats are no better than the republicans, although a democrat might throw a working guy a lifeline if he's drowning. The republican wouldn't because he's afraid throwing him the lifeline would kill off his incentive to survive on his own and without government help. Probably need both systems to balance each other out.
