Social Democracy

So you have nothing, Chicom dupe.

Run along.
I showed you failed to make your point and you returned with another racist slur...

Do you see how sad you life is... You can't seem to fit in to normal society because you see normal people who behave themselves as the enemy and you blame them for all the tings wrong in the world..

At its core, the United States is a federal constitutional republic. Each term in that phrase carries specific meaning:

Federal: Power is divided between a national (federal) government and individual state governments.

Constitutional: The government's authority and structure are defined and limited by a written constitution.

Republic: Citizens elect representatives to make decisions and pass laws on their behalf.

This system was intentionally crafted by the Founding Fathers to prevent tyranny, whether from a monarch or from mob rule. It combines elements of democratic participation with structured safeguards that ensure the rule of law prevails over popular whims

Still waiting for you to point out a racial slur, Chicom dupe……….

Social democrat is just another name for Marxism.
That is just plain ignorance... You make it clear that you have been wildly misinformed on what things are in the world...

This is quite sad... There is a whole world of possibilities out there and you are learning about none of them...

Stop living in fear...

Well, that could be said of quite a few of them in here, however Mac1958 is another breed. He really contributes zero to any topic he enters, and has no intention of doing what this site was founded to do...So, why they don't just boot him is beyond me....He contributes nothing.
So why do you read him?

Not interested in debating what other country's are doing or not doing.
Focus on what our country is doing or not doing in the better interest of the 70% of the population who do not have the power or the money to pay for influence. TODAY is about those who served & died for America.
I was just showing that US isn't doing stuff which is common place in ally countries of the US...

You are saying that we don't want to see what's working in other countries and we want everyone not to look at countries who are getting certain things better... Sorry, this is what they Communists used to say in USSR in the 70s and 80s...

The money and power don't want you looking abroad and asking questions why are they getting better value for their taxes than Americans...

No rebuttal, just more blah, blah, blah because you have have no idea of the actual system of government in America. It is not a social democracy. It is a constitutional republic. Stop living in denial.

So no mention of Social Democracy or Capitalism...

Thanks for that...

Democracy is a terrible way to make decisions in for society.

I don't live in fear. I live in reality. Marxist ideology, of which social democrat policies are a mirror, are responsible for more murders over the last 125 years, than all other sources of murder over the last 2,000 years.

Policies that require mass murder to enforce are not to be followed.

EU don't seem to have a problem...

EU got better election systems and have more constrained constitutions... US complain about the Government overreach while having a Constitution which is tiny, dead (i.e. not update regularly) and is interpreted to the eyeballs by a bunch of unelected political appointments.
The US voting system is antique at this stage... One man one voting is ridiculous in this day and age... It creates two parties who can be hijacked by nature and fear of the other side..

So this 'Big Government' can be used as a fear tactic to scare people... Independent thinker you are fearmongering that Government will take over, instead of saying, we need Government working for the citizens...

So if you see the Government actually helping you want to reject it, in fear that they could control you. You have been conditioned to live your life in fear of people you could help you...

Contrast that to Europe, Governments work for the people and they are very clear about that... The police are government workers for you, politicians are rewarded for working for the people and because the voting system, don't work for the people and you're out... There is no such thing as a safe seat for your party in most cases...
Politicians in Europe have to face the opposition once a week to answer questions... PM's can be voted out in the morning by their own party and they will do it.
Have you aver been there. Europe is ins rerious decline caused by social program spending thats not sustainable, massive immigration by people who hate them, high taxes, the NHS is collapsing, renewable energy is driving manufacturing to America.

While the UK's National Health Service (NHS) has not fully collapsed, it is widely acknowledged by the government, medical professionals, and the public to be in a severe, long-term crisis. Years of underfunding, the fallout from the pandemic, and an aging population have created extreme, systemic strain.

Core Issues Fueling the Crisis
  • Unprecedented Wait Times: Millions of patients are on elective care waiting lists, and A&E (emergency) departments regularly see 12-hour+ delays, with thousands of patients waiting over 24 hours just to be admitted.
    British Medical Association +1
  • Crumbling Infrastructure: Maintenance backlogs across the NHS estate total billions, with aging hospitals suffering from critical failures like leaking pipes and collapsing roofs.
    The BMJ
  • Staffing Shortages: The service struggles to retain and recruit doctors, nurses, and GPs. Burnout, inadequate wages, and difficult working conditions have driven many professionals to reduce their hours, change careers, or move abroad.

  • Social Care Failure: The systemic failure of social care has a domino effect. Hospitals are forced to retain "bed-blockers"—medically fit patients who cannot be discharged because there are no available community or social care packages to support them at home.

    • Crippling Energy Costs:Structural shifts away from low-cost Russian energy have led to volatile and uncompetitive power prices for energy-intensive sectors (like metals and chemicals) in Western Europe.

    • Regulatory Burden: Compliance with ambitious climate mandates like the EU Green Deal demands massive capital outlays, pressuring profit margins.
      EIT Manufacturing
    • Global Competition:Subsidized production in the U.S. (via the Inflation Reduction Act) and manufacturing advantages in Asia are pulling long-term capital investments away from European borders.

You know that a vast majority of Western Europe are constitutional republics?

Just a s a question do ye know the different between a political ideology and a form of government?
Social Democracy is a Political Ideology....

Constitutional Republic is a form of government...

Lads, ye have been on this political forum for a number years now... This is pretty remedial stuff...

Na... It is called free trade and unrestricted trade...

I don't know what you are talking about Marxism, the ignorance ye show is hilarious...

Very few of ye have actually agreed the actual point. Hafar1014 make points which I think I refuted well

But the rest of ye are just a garage of insults, racist slurs, fear and misinformation...

Seriously, you should have a look at yourselves... You are so fearful of any argument you just hurl insults and misinformation. It's pretty sad.

You refuted nothing all you did was try and rename socialism.
